Quick and easy meals get me alllll excited, especially when they’re meals my super-picky boys will eat. It is so hard for me to find food they love that isn’t mac and cheese or grilled cheese or chicken nuggets. These pepperoni pizza sliders made me happy because my boys devoured them and they were done in less than 30 minutes. And oh goodness, they smelled delicious while they were baking!

These pizza-turned-sandwich sliders are the best kind of finger food! They are great as a busy weeknight meal and also for any sort of gathering.

Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

A few notes about these Pizza Sliders:

  • Replace pepperoni with sausage, bacon or Canadian bacon! Or omit the meat altogether and add extra cheese.

  • Other ingredients you could squeeze into the sliders: olives, green onions, chopped yellow onion, green peppers, jalapeno peppers or mushrooms.

  • Serve immediately after pulling these out of the oven for optimal cheesy enjoyment!

  • These can be put together ahead of time and baked when it is convenient. Simply assemble the sliders as directed in the instructions, cover with foil and refrigerate. When you are ready to bake them, remove the foil and add an extra 5 minutes onto your baking time.

Pizza and sandwiches come together to make these EASY, crowd-loving Pepperoni Pizza Sliders. Great for an easy dinner or as a finger food for your next party!

ingredients:

  • 24-count package Hawaiian dinner rolls, halved lengthwise
  • 14-oz. jar pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6-oz. package pepperoni slices
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared baking dish. Top with an even layer of pizza sauce, followed by the cheese, pepperoni and tops of the rolls.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well and brush over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle the fresh parsley over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until cheese has completely melted. Using a sharp knife, cut down the seams of the rolls and serve immediately!
