HOW TO MAKE PEACH CRISP WITH BLUEBERRIES
Peach crisp or any summer fruit crisp is a favorite dessert of ours! I hope you enjoy this with fresh or frozen fruit!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place sliced fresh peaches in a single layer in a 9x13 pan. Top with blueberries (and blackberries, if using).
In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and granulated sugar, baking powder and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the peach-blueberry mixture and top with additional peaches, if desired. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Either let cool to room temperature or serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream!
This can easily become a triple fruit crisp if you wish! Adding the additional half pint of blackberries or raspberries would be divine!
Add a little fresh lemon zest to the top of the fresh peaches for a perfect twist! No more than 2 tsp of zest is needed.
If you make this in off-months, use frozen peaches and frozen blueberries in place of fresh.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COBBLERS, CRUMBLES AND CRISPS?
All are very similar desserts and all involve fruit with some sort of topping. Cobblers are typically topped with biscuits, crisps and crumbles are topped with a crumbly streusel topping. The difference between crisps and crumbles is that crisps contain oats and crumbles do not.
