These Peanut Butter Blondies are unthinkably delicious, super easy to make and they are the perfect excuse to bake when you have extra candy on your hands.

I am talking bags and bags who have spawned smaller baby bags. I've been thinking up ways to get rid of said candy and I plan to incorporate it bit by bit into a handful of recipes to give away. Candy Bar Topped Peanut Butter Blondies

This is a great way to use up Halloween candy!

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Justin's Classic Peanut Butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped candy bars
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a square baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well and set aside. In a large bowl, combine sugar, butter, peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and press down evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven and immediately top with candy bar pieces. Allow to cool, cut into squares and serve!
