A new kind of cheese knife

We eat a lot of cheese in our house. Elijah asks for it at almost every meal. "CHEEEESE, PWEASE!" I eat it in moderation, but only because I am careful about overloading on calories. Samson is too little to eat it, but I am thinking (based on his current interest in food) that he will soon be a cheese-lover, too. And my husband? I think he might have a love for cheese, as well.

Last night before bed, I was looking for just a tiny little treat to satisfy my hunger. I thought, "I know! I'll cut off a slice of cheese for myself. Perfect!" I unwrapped the package of cheddar to find this:

I said, "HUSBAND?! What in the world?" He took one look at the cheese and said, "What?! That's how the knife was shaped!" Hmmm, really.

And then we laughed. And I took a matching bite out of the other side.
