This announcement is slightly surreal. I still have to pinch myself occasionally just to make sure it is really happening. I am super excited to announce that my very first cookbook is set to be published in January 2018! You are going to want to add this one to your collection, you guys. I baked and ate every single cookie in this book and they were all mind-blowingly delicious.
Cookie Remix contains 75 cookie recipes (photos accompany every recipe!) that were inspired by drinks, cakes, pies or other sweet treats such as donuts and ice cream flavors (and so much more). The recipes were created with the beginner baker in mind, so the instructions are easy to follow and ingredients easy to find. Each cookie in this book tastes shockingly like the dessert or drink it is named after. Get ready to WOW people with these delicious cookies!
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
Eight months ago I conspired with Page Street Publishing (distributed by Macmillan) regarding cookbook topics. We tossed around a few ideas but nothing stood out for me right away. Then one night I had a dream. Literally, I dreamed all night about Moscow mules and strawberry donuts dancing with cookies. When I woke up, I knew exactly what needed to happen. I spent the winter baking hundreds and hundreds of cookies and then eating, perfecting and taking lots and lots of pictures of said cookies. I poured myself into a manuscript that I was pretty proud of and handed it over to Page Street. They have transformed my content into an amazing book which is nearing completion. I am so completely happy with the way everything has turned out. The recipes are more delicious than I ever could have dreamed eight months ago and the book looks amazing. I hope you enjoy this book and these recipes as much as I do!
