In the past week we wrapped up our time in Charlotte, drove all they way back to Minnesota, got (sort of) back into the swing of things at home, avoided laundry and cleaning and celebrated a BIG birthday. Dan surprised me with a VERY nice dinner last night to celebrate said big birthday. I almost died when I saw the check, but goodness gracious the food was incredible. We devoured every morsel of each of the eight perfect courses. My sister took the boys overnight last night, so we had a nice quiet evening and the house is quiet this morning. In a few hours potty talk will be bouncing off the walls once again.
I made this peach frozen yogurt while in Charlotte and everyone loved it! I love that it looks and tastes just like ice cream, but it's not. Gotcha, boys!
All you will need are three measly ingredients: peaches, yogurt and honey. Throw them into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth. Pour into a shallow container, cover and freeze for a minimum of four hours.
I find it so tough to keep my boys from eating too much sugar in the summer. Along with summer comes popsicles, ice cream, s'mores and birthday/holiday treats. I LOVE discovering treats that aren't packed with sugar.
