Orange Julius Copycat

I could walk through the desert for days and not be as thirsty as I get while photographing weddings. As I wait for the bride and groom to smooch, I think about slurping down a super-cold slushy or a big fat glass of ice cold water. I need to buy one of those nerdy water backpacks with a bendy straw that wraps around to my mouth.

One of the drinks I dream of in times of thirst is the good ol' Orange Julius. It is soooo refreshing and cold and satisfying on a hot summer day. After my wedding last weekend, the thirst would not subside and IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT I would have chopped off a couple fingers for an Orange Julius. The next day, I googled orange julius copycat recipe and immediately created this delicious drink. It tastes EXACTLY like the original. My little boys and I literally slurped down the entire batch in minutes.

One blender, five ingredients, two minutes...thirst quenched!
