Guacamole delicioso
09.8.2010
I love Mexican food. We make a lot of it at our house. We especially like Mexican dips (salsas, guacamoles, etc.) because 1. they are delicious, 2. they can be as spicy or plain as we want them to be, 3. they make great toppings for other foods, 4. they serve as perfect appetizers for parties/gatherings, and 5. they go well with margaritas.
Over the past few years we have perfected our homemade guacamole recipe and I must say, it is pretty darn tasty. Whenever I make it, it does not stay in our fridge for very long.
Chop up three avocados

Throw the avocados into a medium bowl, along with:
1/2 cup (or so) of chunky salsa (we use Hot, and it really helps to give this guac a nice zing)
4 oz. cream cheese
A dollup or two of sour cream

Add:
A splash or two of Worcestershire sauce
Juice from half a lemon
4 cloves of garlic
Salt & Pepper

I use a garlic press because I like for the garlic to seep into every pore of this guacamole!

Stir it all together.

Grab a bag of chips out of the pantry and devour!
