Watermelon martini

I love this fruity, light and delicious cocktail! It screams summer! You absolutely must make this Watermelon Martini to serve at your next summer gathering!

It is early September and I am in complete denial. I am attempting to hang onto the last strands of summer for dear life. I love summer. When it gets hot and muggy and everyone around me seems to be complaining endlessly, I think of those terrible, bitter days in January when the insides of my nostrils freeze together during my 10-second walk from my car into work. I rarely complain about the heat. Summer, please don't go!

One of the things I think of when summer comes to mind is an occasional fun, light, summery cocktail. This watermelon martini is fabulously light and tasty! And it makes me forget for a few minutes that summer is on its way out.
